About Me

My journey began with law studies, working as an attorney, and later as an HR director in large companies. But over many years, something deeper accompanied me: a growing longing for meaning, inner truth, and connection.

An experience deeply touched me 30 years ago. A trip through Laos led me to a beautiful place among ancient Buddhist temples overlooking the Mekong, which meandered lazily through a green jungle. In this actually wonderful moment, I became painfully aware that I felt as if I was "sitting under a glass dome" - present yet separated, not truly connected, and seeing the overwhelming beauty of the moment but not feeling and perceiving it with full presence.

I felt at that time as if I was in a "honeycomb" of beliefs, habits, and inner parts that strongly colored my perception of reality and prevented me from seeing the wonder of the moment.

In this moment, my inner journey began, the search for connection and presence.

And I developed much empathy and deep understanding for people who also frequently feel "trapped", perhaps in self-limiting patterns, excessive self-criticism, nearly impossible demands on themselves, or inner restlessness. People who so deeply desire a happy relationship, but then repeatedly suffer so much, get into conflicts, which then trigger feelings of shame and guilt; people who repeatedly hope that life will "soon" be more relaxed, fulfilled, and happier, and who strive, only to be disappointed again to find that the "shift" hasn't happened.

Coaching training, therapeutic trainings, various retreats, and continuous inner work became an essential part of my life and have led me on a profound transformation journey.

In autumn 2016, I moved to southern Portugal with my then-partner and our daughter – into an environment that creates space for me: for inner work, transformation, and healing. As a couple, we accompanied each other on this path, inspired but also repeatedly held up mirrors to each other, thus bringing shadow areas into the light. Challenges arising from developmental and attachment trauma were not only the subject of further education but also present in my own life reality.

After our separation, this inner journey continues as separated partners and parents. During the separation, we went through very different phases, took no "shortcuts," accepted pain and grief, and continued to appreciate the value of inner presence. But beyond that, we are always aware that "our" inner work should primarily serve our daughter and her happiness in life.

And also in my role as a father, I am repeatedly thrown back to my attachment experiences with my parents, which also shape my bond with my daughter and simultaneously deepen my understanding of early imprints of our inner attachment system.

For seven years, I have been working in an intensive educational youth welfare facility in Portugal. The work there – as a caretaker, teacher, pedagogical coordinator, and now as HR manager – has given me deep insights into human development processes, relationship building, and the power of healing presence.

In my coaching services, I combine these experiences from different life realities with my own path of healing and transformation and holistic, trauma-sensitive approaches informed by current insights in therapy and coaching. I accompany people who want to encounter themselves more deeply – who long for clarity, inner peace, integration, and connection.

My work is characterized by presence, empathy, spiritual and somatic orientation, and a safe space for everything that wants to be expressed.
I don't believe in quick solutions but in the wisdom that emerges when we truly turn towards life in its depth and complexity.

"Trauma is not just an event that took place sometime in the past. It is also the imprint left by that experience on mind, brain, and body."
